If you order a CD, but also choose to download the software, then when the CD arrives, you can file it away to use if you ever need to reinstall the program.

Ancestral Quest 12.1 will work on Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7, on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. If you have an older version of Windows, you could purchase AQ 12.1, but then download and use AQ 11 until such time as you upgrade your Windows.

The PDF-generating software that AQ installs and uses will work on 32-bit Windows, only. If you have 64-bit Windows, please see the details on printing to PDF files on this page of our website.

Ancestral Quest is not available as a native Macintosh program at the present time (See the FAQs page for more information). We apologize for any inconvenience.
