Incline Software Reclaims Ownership of Ancestral Quest
from The Hope Foundation
Salt Lake City, UT (May 10,
2001)--Incline Software, LC, producer of Ancestral Quest™, the
leading personal genealogy records management software, announced today
that it had reclaimed ownership of Ancestral Quest from The Hope
Foundation.
Incline Software™ developed
Ancestral Quest in 1994, and over the years has enhanced it to make it,
including products derived from it, the most widely used personal
genealogy records manager in use today.
In September of 1998, Incline
Software and The Hope Foundation started the process of transferring
ownership of Ancestral Quest from Incline Software, who had developed it,
to The Hope Foundation. This sale was not completed. In September of 2000, Incline Software reclaimed ownership of Ancestral Quest, but
continued to work in the name of The Hope Foundation until today, when The
Hope Foundation finally relinquished title to Ancestral Quest and all
rights to it.
Incline Software will now be able
to concentrate its efforts in further enhancing Ancestral Quest and other
genealogical services.
All inquiries about Ancestral
Quest should now be made to:
